Recent updates for the tensile testing machine

In this video I share the recent updates for the tensile testing machine.

There is a new cross head design, so I can attach the grips and the load cell. I finally received the grips, so I can fix the sample in the machine properly. There will be a new support bearing for the shaft which holds the worm gears, so at higher torques, the axial forces will not be a problem.

I will also work on a new base plate, so I am planning to ditch the whole support frame and build the machine on something more solid/rigid stuff.
