Why is the Peltier cooler-based air conditioning a BAD idea?

In this video I continue my ranting about Peltier cooler-based air conditioning and I try to explain why it is a bad idea. It is loud, it is complex and it consumes a lot of electricity due to its inherent inefficiency. Of course, it is not impossible to build one, but it will be more expensive to both build and operate them. The large construction cost comes from the power supply and the heat exchanger part, and the large operating cost comes from the fact that the Peltier coolers require a lot of current.
