Recent updates for the tensile testing machine

In this video I am talking about the recent updates for the miniature tensile testing machine.

As you can see, there is a substantial change as compared to the previous version. The machine has a thick steel plate, so there are no issues of moving or bending parts. The shafts are held by strong support bearings (BK10 and EK08) which can withstand the axial forces. Larger stepper motor (NEMA23) is used as compared to the previous (NEMA17) one. The grips have a simple clamping mechanism with wing bolts. The machine is controlled by a complex circuit which contains several different parts.
